Dual extrusion
Hello
Yesterday I tested the dual extrusion
it's almost good, but I have an offset of 0.5 mm
I do not understand how to resolve the problem

Re: Dual extrusion
Could this be a setting of the printer profile?
Perhaps the distance is a bit more on the Formaker compared to the Replicating?

hello
I think it is the same as the replicator
but I can not find where i can fix profile
I can not seem to connect with ReplicatorG or with Cura
I use the latest version of Makerbot
I find nothing on the control screen

Re: Dual extrusion
What about adjustment?
I have not checked but perhaps you can measure the offset and adjust the heads?

Re: Dual extrusion
Hello,
I have found a temporary solution. I have written a small Java-Program, which recalculates the positions for the second extruder in the gcode file.
1. Open MakerWare and prepare your Model
2. Export the Model as Gcode
3. Open my Java-Programm
4. Select the generated gcode file
5. Select a diferent file to save the output
6. Enter your machines offset (mine are x:1.2 y:0)
7. Click Convert
8. Open MakerWare again
9. Select File->Make from File... and open the converted file
10. Export as .x3g file
11. Print!
