Laser Test and question Empty Laser Test and question

Post by slackmaniac Thu Mar 31, 2016 2:14 am

So I got my laser back up and working and ran this test of a laser rose:

However I was only able to figure out how to outline the rose on CTC Inkscape via the digital manual. I was wondering if anyone figured out an option to fill an engraving rather than outline it. Hope to hear a reply soon. Smile

I'm working on this issue too. According to the Formaker manual CURA should be used. There you can load a pixel graphic (no vector unfortunately) an get an embossed 3D model. But I was unable to get the laser to engrave that.

Has anybody been able to generate gcode/x3g file for later engraving something other than outline graphics?

Either with CURA or any other tool. Any advise would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Gregster
