[Thingiverse] Filament spool holder

Post by szalap on Mon Apr 18, 2016 4:08 pm

I've found this cool and useful project by Kpafuca, who owns CTC 3D Printer, so the parts should fit in nicely, though I haven't printed it yet to make sure:

It should help everybody to compress workspace a bit and keep the spool firm on the printer itself.

Hey, thank you for the design but this does not fit on our formaker.
It is designed for the wooden frame which has different size and slight differences so it does not fit. The Thickness of our formaker metal is roughly 1.5mm + coating so ~ 1.6-1.7mm
I am currently printing my own designed filament spool holder for the formaker. When i have tested this one i will upload it and share with you!

You're right, I've been so glad I've found it, that I didn't even check specifics - thanks for pointing it out so quickly Smile.

And awesome, I've wrote this post, at least I'll be able to try out something in the end - looking forward to see your project and thanks again!!!
You're planning to place the holder in the same fashion as Kpafuca or along side?
